The Small Business Academy

Gretchen Lindell is a 30-something educator originally from New Jersey, who now resides in western New York. She started her career in higher education in the office of public relations at Boston University. In 2005, she moved to western New York and became a faculty member of a small business college. Within five years, she moved to an administrative track and eventually became the dean of the school. She has since moved on to independent ventures. Gretchen has a BA in communication from the University of Massachusetts and an EdM in educational media and technology from Boston University. In addition to her work in higher education, she has also focused on website development, social media management, and public relations for small businesses in western New York and Pennsylvania. Currently, she is building online courses to assist moms who want to start their own businesses. #MomBoss
